Aaron Perez-Daple is a first-chair trial lawyer, licensing strategist, and trusted adviser to technology companies in complex intellectual property matters. He represents clients in patent strategy and portfolio development, litigation and appeals, licensing disputes and negotiations, and private arbitration. His practice combines courtroom experience, technical sophistication, and commercial judgment to resolve high-stakes disputes and advance practical business objectives.

Drawing on his experience in federal court, the International Trade Commission, appellate proceedings, and private arbitration, Mr. Perez-Daple provides clients with practical guidance on litigation risk, settlement strategy, and licensing leverage. His understanding of how disputes develop and are ultimately resolved allows him to evaluate matters with both legal and commercial judgment.

He has negotiated licensing agreements that generated millions of dollars for patent owners and has defended companies against licensing demands that lacked sufficient legal or economic justification.

Beyond individual disputes, Mr. Perez-Daple works with clients to develop intellectual property strategies and patent portfolios aligned with their commercial priorities and designed to mitigate future litigation risk.

Mr. Perez-Daple holds a degree in Applied & Engineering Physics, having graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University,  and he has worked with a range of advanced technologies including:

Mr. Perez-Daple started his career in Intellectual Property at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, where he was an Examiner in computer networking and artificial intelligence.  After graduating from law school, he worked for top litigation law firms, where he represented clients in major litigations in district court and the ITC.  He has taken and defended over 100 depositions and been to trial 5 times.  He has never lost at trial (past results do not guarantee future success).

When Mr. Perez-Daple isn’t working, he enjoys travel, wine, photography, and martial arts.
