Licensing & Contracts

We advise both licensors and licensees on evaluating claims, developing negotiating positions, structuring royalty and payment terms, and resolving disputes without unnecessary litigation. Our attorneys have negotiated agreements generating substantial licensing value for patent owners and have helped operating companies resist unsupported or commercially unreasonable demands. We represent companies in patent litigation, ITC investigations, appeals, and private arbitration, handling matters from initial risk assessment, pre-suit negotiations, discovery, trial and final resolution through appeal. Our attorneys combine courtroom experience with technical and licensing insight to identify leverage, focus resources on the issues that matter, and pursue efficient, practical outcomes. We also have extensive PTAB experience, representing both patent owners and petitioners in nearly 100 inter partes review and other post-grant proceedings.
